Beatriz Silva is an Associate Professor with Habilitation at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon, and a senior researcher at IDMEC/LAETA. Her research focuses on metal forming and advanced manufacturing of lightweight materials, with a strong emphasis on international collaboration. She has authored several publications in these fields and supervises MSc and PhD students.
Beyond research, she is actively engaged in promoting diversity and gender balance in engineering through her involvement in the Unite! alliance.
Greta Temporin, Post-Doc Research Fellow at Politecnico di Torino.
Greta Temporin is a Post-Doc Research Fellow, her work focuses on gender equality and diversity and inclusion (D&I) strategies and practices in the private sector, D&I practice exchange and knowledge transfer between the private and the public sector.
This service will support all EU Higher Education Institutions cin creating, updating and implementing their gender equality plan (GEP). It is platform where all the actions pursued by other universities are categorised in a harmonised way. This catalogue shows other institutions what can be achieved and is particularly relevant for widening countries.
