Agora is a digital platform that delivers tangible services aimed at accelerating the institutional transformation of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).

It is an open-source  platform that facilitates the provision and consumption of acceleration services, supporting HEIs and university Alliances in their transformation efforts.

As a digital platform that follows and updates the concept of the ancient Greek town square and marketplace, Agora helps to overcome prevalent challenges and boost R&I on multiple levels. 

Individual users benefit from Agora, i.e. researchers or faculty staff, by facilitating collaboration, resource sharing or knowledge transfer. As a marketplace for services and information, users can offer and consume services to boost their careers or participate in a digital community.

On the institutional level, the platform supports HEIs in their digital transition by providing tailored acceleration services. HEIs can make use of the Agora to connect to other universities and stakeholders, facilitate collaboration or align institutional transformation. Finally, and on the macro level, Agora serves as a node to improve collaboration, strategic alignment and community building within HEI alliances while at the same time contributing to the integration of the European Research Area (ERA).
