Agora IT Community - Catalogue improvements
Tenth session
Join the Agora IT Community – Catalogue improvements
We invite technical members across all university alliances to join the next session of the Agora IT Community, a dedicated space for sharing IT insights, discussing platform requirements, and collaborating on the continuous improvement of the Agora platform.
Session Focus: Catalogue improvements
In this session, we will break down the latest technical and user-experience enhancements made to the Agora catalogues, explore real-world use cases, and outline where catalogue administration is heading next.
Key Topics We’ll Cover:
- Personalized Management: Demonstrating the new item bookmarking functionality (similar to a Favorites section) to help users save and quickly access key catalogue elements.
- Streamlined UI & Navigation: Navigating the updated catalogue list views and redesigned filter locations aimed at improving discoverability and user flow.
- Catalogue Architecture & Roadmap: Presenting the future strategy for reallocating catalogue configuration settings and shifting how administrators manage catalogue parameters behind the scenes.
Your expertise directly influences how these tools develop. During this session, we need your active feedback to:
- Identify Gaps & Edge Cases: Help us spot missing features, edge cases, or alliance-specific use cases we need to address.
- Shape the Roadmap: Prioritize upcoming feature requests so our development team builds what brings the highest value to your alliance first.
How to Join & Participate
- Register: Sign up and manage your group subscriptions at widening.eu/groups.
- Spread the Word: Invite technical leads, UX-focused colleagues, and administrators interested in contributing to the UX and technical definition of Agora profiles.
Session outcomes and documentation will be shared with all registered participants. We look forward to building the future of Agora IT services together!
