Meritxell Vinyas is Project Lead for Research Infrastructure and technical services at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). She is a strategic leader in research and innovation, with extensive experience driving the development and internationalization of research infrastructures; she has spearheaded cross-cutting projects to enhance the role and impact of scientific research centers and technical services.
As part of her role, she currently leads the Shared Research Infrastructure sub group for FOR EU 4 ALL, shaping policies and strategies to strengthen collaboration across European research institutions. In the past, she served as the UPC coordinator for the Shared Infrastructures Work Package in a Horizon 2020 and WIDERA project, where she delivered innovative tools to promote open access, institutional collaboration, and operational excellence.
